Awesome place “If you are in search of good people and good company, this is a place to be. We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodation is lovely, located in the most beautiful natural surrounding. But the best part of it are people - always smiling, always ready to help. We really felt welcomed into big Le Life family. For us the most meaningful experience was immersion into local culture - Jacques and Tahnia work closely with locals from Epule village and this enabled us to meet some of the most wonderful people we've met on this trip (shout to Solomon! :D ). Unique part of the experience was Le Mer restaurant - beside serving great food, it served as a hangout spot for all guest and staff. Evening come and everybody would gather for some kava, drinks, dinner and stories. We spent our New Years Eve here and the owners organised free dinner for all guests and staff with their families - how awesome is that?!!1 There are loads of trips available based on your preferences and great opportunity to learn about and from locals. Our go to happy place"We first started visiting Le Life in November 2015. We met Tahnia through both our efforts in trying to help the locals after Cyclone Pam. My partner and I have now become seriously addicted to this place. We work extremely hard at home, so we need to do down time extremely hard too and this place is perfect. Le Life gives you a cultural experience, like no other. You can immerse yourself as much or as little as you like with the locals. The only sounds are the waves gently breaking and the locals having a laugh, throw in a bit of Island music & a cocktail or two and it truly is heaven on earth. The sunrises are amazing, the local Ni Vans are amazing, the local food is amazing, the peacefulness is amazing, having no TV is amazing (& awesome) and watching the recovery of this beautiful place after the cyclone has been an honour. If you are looking for air con, pools & TV's, this isn't the place for you, but you will be doing yourself an injustice if you don't at least visit and eat at their restaurant La Mer or give yourself a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy staying in such a fantastic area of Efate. Do as little or as much you like. There is lots to see and do on this side of the island. Our hosts Tahnia and her dad Jacque have now become friends for life and we are visiting on average every 3-4 months. This is definitely our go to happy place and I would highly recommend immersing yourself in the culture and enjoying Island time in Epule. Put it on your bucket list." Magical Experience "Le Life Resort is truly a magical place… lovely views across the breaking waves on the reef to distant islands, safe swimming in natural pools between the beach and the reef, river and rainforest close by, large comfortable (and very economical) tents for those that enjoy the sound of the surf and a natural breeze or bungalows for those that prefer more solid luxury. The restaurant and bar also have great views and food and drinks to match – the crepes and cocktails are particularly addictive. Spa treatments are also available – I tried the massage and it was excellent. In addition to all of this, the wonderful team at Le Life Resort (Tahnia, Jacques and the local staff) make the experience perfect – for me it was a tranquil, relaxing five days of bliss but there are plenty of activities for those who want something more active… can’t wait to go back" Anne L, NT Dec 16
